Hickory Door Characteristics:
Hickory heartwood is reddish brown in color and has white sapwood. Hickory is typically straight-grained but can have wavy or irregular grain as well. Favored for both clear and rustic applications, its high density makes for a heavy swing and solid "Old World" feel. Hickory Wood Doors have dramatic color variations from white to brown offering a "calico" look.
